Each month we strive to help you focus on Jesus Christ as you read through Scripture. The Mommy & Me Scripture Journals are the perfect way to read, study, and connect to God’s Word with your children. This product includes ALL TWELVE journals.

January’s theme focuses on the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). This set is a great way to start off the new year by focusing on the very beginning of Jesus’ largest recorded sermon in the Scriptures. They are formatted in a way to help you memorize the verses as you study.

February’s theme focuses on God’s Relationship with His Children. As you and your child(ren) learn more about what God’s Word says about Love. This set also includes some Scripture Valentine’s cards and bookmarks.

March’s theme focuses on new life, being born again, which is the same as new creations and new life. As we focus on these verses, we must understand that Jesus did not come to make us better. But rather He came to impart his life (the only good life) to live through us, created anew in Him.

April’s theme is On Him the Iniquity of Us All focusing on the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is formatted similar to previous months with a verse each day, but in the children’s journal, we added vocabulary words to help with those they may not know.

May’s theme is Walking with God. As you go through the study, seek after God with all your heart, just as David did. Ask God to open your ears to hear His voice, your eyes to see only Him and your heart to follow boldly after Him.

June’s theme centers around I Peter 2:9. As you read and copy the Scriptures with your children, we encourage you to read the verses aloud. We are reading and copying through 30 verses in the first two chapters of I Peter. While you will only copy one verse per day, we recommend you read through them together in sections weekly.

July’s theme centers around two verses from the New Testament as they relate to the book of Jonah. 2 Peter 3:9. “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” And Luke 6:36 “Be ye merciful, even as your Father is merciful.”

August’s theme focuses on prayer. Throughout scripture we are taught to pray, the people of God are referred to as people of prayer, and this month’s verses are on prayer from the New Testament.

September’s theme focuses on grace. As Christians, we need to pay attention to another word in the Old Testament, “favor” which is often used to convey the idea of unmerited favor – or grace.

October’s theme focuses on hope. In the modern world, we use the word “hope” differently than the word is used in scripture.

November’s theme focuses on gratitude. It was created just for you and your child to do together as you contemplate His words and His blessings and grow in the Lord Jesus Christ.

December’s theme focuses on the heart of the Gospel of Luke before you arrive at the birth of Christ. It is the perfect study to help you draw closer to Christ and your children this Christmas season.
